Sample Success Story: Immigration Judge Granted Cancellation of Removal to a Detainee

On August 27, 2012, an immigration judge at an immigration court in one of the ICE detention facilities granted cancellation of removal to a Lin & Valdez client.  The grant of the relief thus ended the ordeal of our client and will allow the client to get back his permanent residency.

Our client in this case has been in the US since his childhood.  In his very young age, he made some mistakes, but has now become a successful professional. After a trip overseas, he was stopped by the ICE agent upon returning to the US and since then be kept by the government.  His family and friends in the west coast of the US then contacted our office and retained Attorney Stewart Lin to represent him.  Upon the trial on August 27, 2012, the court granted the requested relief of cancellation of removal to a permanent resident.  The government counsel waived appeal.  The grant of relief became final and our client will be released from the detention shortly and return to the west coast.

Attorneys at Lin & Valdez have represented hundreds of aliens in all kinds of proceedings in immigration court.  We represent clients in all immigration courts of Texas, and Louisiana.  We also represent clients in immigration courts in Michigan, California, etc.  For bonding, removal, or relief seeking in the immigration court, please contact us immediately.
