On October 30, 2012, an immigration judge after hearing the presentation of our client’s case set a bond for the release of our client.
Our client was from one of the South American countries. He has been in the US for over 10 years. Other than a DWI record, he has not otherwise been in trouble with law in any manner. On October 17, 2012, however, he was picked up by the ICE agent and since then detained by the government.
Attorney Stewart Lin was retained by the individual’s family and e represented the client in the bond hearing. Mr. Lin eventually successfully secured the grant of bond by the presiding judge.
