Today we received a faxed approval notice from California Service Center for an E-2 application we filed for our client with a receipt date of Nov. 2, 2006. This is for an E-2 treaty investor client in Florida investing in Thai restaurant. Our client is ecstatic because this case was filed just two days before he and his families' status became expired. With the approval, they would be able to operate their business with a legal status.
Just like in many of our other cases, we have never met with this client. He visited www.immiweb.com, and called us. While this client called us many months ago to consult the feasibility of applying for E-2, he did not made up his mind until early October, which has been close on to the expiration date of his H-1 and his families' H-4. Following our instruction, the client quickly completed his purchase of the restaurant, prepared and shipped us all documents required, and we immediately helped him prepare and file the package. A week later on today, we got the approval.
We have handled successfully so many E-2 treaty investment visa or status applications for clients from Canada, European, and Asian treaty countries. The invested enterprises of our clients are all over the US. We owe this to the advance in technology as it has removed the barrier in communication.
For people from treaty countries, E-2 investment visa is a very flexible status. The requirement for investment amount is not high. Averagely our clients invest in the range of $50,000.00 to $100,000.00. As of now, none of our E-2 applications to the USCIS is denied and we have indeed stand out with this record.
