On April 13, 2010, the US embassy in Taiwan approved an E-2 petition one of Lin & Valdez LLP’s clients presented in Taiwan.
Our client in this case was previously an H-1 visa holder working for a professional company. For the purpose of opening up his own office, he decides to invest his savings in the US and had our assistance helping him prepare the petition package. Throughout the preparation, we helped our client draft and revise his business plan, and guided him step by step from his incorporation of the business until the completion and submission of the filing package to Taipei. We also discussed with our client extensively the possible questions that might be asked in the interview. According to our client, the interview was rather pleasant and went on very smoothly. The petition was approved without challenge by the interview counsel.
Over the years, Lin & Valdez has handled thousands of immigration petitions including countless number of E-2 cases. The investments our clients made for the applications are in a wide range of businesses, including beauty salon, restaurant, camera shop, doughnut shop, supermarket, gas station, convenience store, trading company, day care, bridal service, professional service, hotel/motel, computer company, franchise store, liquor store, aquarium, art gallery, and granite and stone business, etc. We have established ourselves a premier E-2 investment visa practitioner. In addition to investor petition, we also help our E-2 clients apply for their E-2 employees.
We have our clientele all over the world, and as a matter of fact, we have never met with the majority of our investor visa clients. If you are from one of the E-2 countries and are interested in coming to the US with this flexible visa status, or changing your status to E-2 in the US, or to apply for your E-2 employees, please contact us immediately.
