On April 13, 2010, the US embassy in Taiwan approved an E-2 petition one of Lin & Valdez LLP’s clients presented in Taiwan. 

Our client in this case was previously an H-1 visa holder working for a professional company.  For the purpose of opening up his own office, he decides to invest his savings in the US and had our assistance helping him prepare the petition package.  Throughout the preparation, we helped our client draft and revise his business plan, and guided him step by step from his incorporation of the business until the completion and submission of the filing package to Taipei.  We also discussed with our client extensively the possible questions that might be asked in the interview.  According to our client, the interview was rather pleasant and went on very smoothly.  The petition was approved without challenge by the interview counsel.
