Success Story: E-2 Investor Visa Approved in Toronto to a Newly Licensed Attorney

On October 13, 2010, the US consulate in Toronto approved an E-2 petition to Lin & Valdez LLPs client.

Our client in this case is a Canadian citizen who was newly licensed to practice law in the State of California.  For the purpose of coming to the US to start and operate his startup law office, he sought help from Lin & Valdez and the advise of Attorney Stewart Lin.

To start the business, the investor invested just about $70,000.00 to his new office in California.  However, the clients source of fund was very limited, and it presented a challenge to the case.  Despite of the difficulties, Attorney Stewart Lin helped the client develop a convincing business plan, and prepared a comprehensive package for the application.  The package was sent to the US Consulate for preview.  The preview encountered no problem or request of any further document at all, and the case was set for interview on October 13, 2010.

Prior to the interview, Attorney Stewart Lin went through the possible questions with our client.  However, according to our client, the interview lasted for just about five minutes as the documents submitted are so convincing.  After just a few questions, the interview was completed and our client was granted E-2 visa.

Over the years, Lin & Valdez has applied for countless numbers of E-2 cases.  The investments our clients made for the applications are in a wide range of businesses, including beauty salon, restaurant, camera shop, doughnut shop, supermarket, gas station, convenience store, trading company, day care, bridal service, professional service, hotel/motel, computer company, franchise store, art gallery, law office, and granite and stone business, etc.  We have established ourselves a premier E-2 investment visa practitioner.  If you are from one of the E-2 countries and are interested in coming to the US with this flexible visa status, or changing your status to E-2 in the US, please contact us immediately.  The help you need is just a click away!
