On March 20, 2009, our office received a National Interest Wavier approval notice dated March 12, 2009 from the USCIS. This petition was filed and received by the USCIS Texas Service Center on January 5 of 2009. In other words, this case was approved within 100 days after it was filed!
Our client in this case is an assistant professor in Endodontics at a medical school. Although he has obtained a couple of patents from the US patent office, the number of his publication is an unimpressive 5 papers. Nevertheless, we are able to convince the USCIS that our client’s research will greatly benefit the US through our detail introduction set forth in the petition letter. We did not receive any Request for Evidence for this case. As of now, the USCIS is processing the adjustment of status petition of our client.
