On March 30, 2009, the USCIS approved an EB-1A alien of extraordinary application we filed for a singer and music producer from a Southeast Asian country. This approval marks a continuance of our success and track record in EB-category petitions.
Of the so many cases we have handled, this case is probably one of the weakest in its evidence provided to us. The coverage of our client’s achievement is largely in local media. Documental evidence our client provided to us is sporadic. He has never received national or international level of award either. Our client toured campus in demonstrating the music style and skill of the music from his country. So, how did we get the approval for him?
The only meaningful achievement for the application our client ever had which eventually helped us get the approval was that he was twice contracted by one of the largest soft-drink companies of the world to sing their campaign songs in his country, and his was invited to sing and produce music for the air force of his country for enlisting campaign. On the basis of this, we argued to the USCIS that our client has reached to the status of alien of extraordinary ability in music. We compared him with other singers and producers of his country, and convinced the US government that only the best in the music field could have been chosen to perform for these two important occasions. Obviously, our argument works. The ecstasy of our client upon hearing this good news in his country was so high and contagious even our staff in the US could feel it.
Over the years we have established an extremely high success rate in EB-1 and NIW applications. Consequent to this approval, our client has immediately referred his friends in the art field from this Southeast Asian country for C.V. evaluation. Please contact us immediately if you are thinking about applying for NIW or EB-1. We will give you our thought to the chance of your application.
