On January 26, 2010, we received an I-140 approval the USCIS made on January 22, 2010 to an EB-1B outstanding researcher petition we filed for our client. The EB-1 petition was filed on October 19, 2009. As the I-485 was concurrently filed with the I-140 and approved the same time, our client has gotten her permanent residency in around 100 days after the case was filed to the USCIS.
Our client in this case is an Epidemiologist at a non-profit public research institute with a Master’s degree in Health Service Research. It should be noted that our client, being from India, was approved of NIW previously through our representation. However, as the priority date of EB-2 category was moving so slowly for people born in India, our client decided to upgrade the petition to EB-1B after consulting with us. With the hard work attorney at Lin & Valdez in coordination with our client, this decision pays off. The petition was approved outright without receiving any request for evidence from the USCIS. Upon receiving the approval, our client was ecstatic and she sent a box of chocolate to us to share with us her joy.
Over the years we have established a close to perfect success rate in EB-1 and NIW applications. Our clients are in all lines of professions, raging from art, movie, science, fashion, singing, and other fields. We have as such helped many scientists and artists in the top of their field to come to the US and obtain the permanent residency for them. Please contact us immediately if you are thinking about applying for NIW or EB-1. We will give you our thought to the chance of your application. As we always say, the best help you need is just a click away!
