Success Story: PERM Labor Certification for Chef of Japanese Restaurant Certified

On March 28, 2010, we received the courtesy email notification from the Department of Labor that a PERM labor certification application we filed for a client was certified.  This case was not selected for auditing by the Department of Labor and was certified outright.  Continuing our success in this field, we have helped another client secure the labor certification.

The employer of this case is a Japanese restaurant and the position applied for is Chef/Head Cook. As we have indicated in our previous posting, all of the PERM labor certifications of our clients, audited or not, were approved since the implement of the PERM system.  We are very proud of this flawless record. Yet at the same time, we are even more careful in preparing each of our cases.

Over the past 10 years, we have represented many employers in restaurant business for chef of various kinds of cuisine.  In recent days, the waiting time for EB-3 has improved and shortened and we believe the situation will further improve as the number of cases filed for the last two years is far less than before.  Employers seeking to employ chef or other EB-3 employee should act early to take advantage the shortened waiting period.

When preparing a PERM case, experience is extremely important as the process is highly technical and many aspects of the application must be clearly thought out before filing.  Whether you are an employer or an employee contemplating applying for PERM (labor certification), please contact us immediately.  Check out our web column and you will see the success we have obtained for our clients.  Give us a call or send us an email.  The help you need is just a click away!
