Mr.
Andrew H. Whang, an associate attorney of Lin &
Valdez, is a graduate of Indiana University. He also received
his Jurisprudence Doctoral degree from Indiana University.
During the time of his law school, Mr. Whang participated
in various internship programs sponsored by Indiana Attorney
General’s Office and Marion County Civil and Criminal
Courts. Through such programs, he mastered legal research
skills, and assisted judges and state attorneys in preparing
legal documents, briefs, office memorandum, and motions.
From year 2000 through 2002, Mr. Whang worked at Ahn Law Firm, a private
law firm located in Houston, Texas, and primarily engaged in the areas of
immigration, civil litigations, business law, and real estate law. During
his employment, Mr. Whang handled cases with great devotion and vigorously
prosecuted and defended complex litigations. He also managed to obtain many
lucrative settlements with insurance companies and procured a number of international
transactions on behalf of his clients. While at Ahn Law Firm, Mr. Whang expanded
its existing practicing areas by adding immigration law and contributed largely
in the firm’s recent growth.
With the employment and presence of Mr. Whang, Lin & Valdez, L.L.P.
expands its service in immigration and civil practices greatly. We are also
able to communicate with our Korean-speaking clients directly in the language
they are most familiar with as Mr. Whang reads, writes, and speaks Korean
fluently. Mr. Whang’s practice areas focus on F-1, H-1, E-2, L-1, labor
certificate, NIW and all employment-based & family-based immigration,
business litigation, civil trials, personal injury, family law, and estate
planning.
