
Attorney Azhar Chaudhary graduated from a top Ivy League School, Yale University, and received his professional doctorate in law, (J.D., Juris Doctor), from one of the most prestigious institutions of legal education in the United States, Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, DC.
While at Georgetown Law, Mr. Chaudhary worked at the Supreme Court Institute, where he had the distinct honor of assisting attorneys with final oral arguments before the Supreme Court of the United States. He also worked at the Center for Applied Legal Studies where he helped attorneys and clients with preparation of Refugee and Asylum cases before the Immigration Court, Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Chaudhary has extensive experience in ADR, Alternative Dispute Resolution and has participated in numerous Seminars on ADR System Design-most advanced training on ADR offered to professional dispute resolution specialists.
However, Mr. Chaudhary's Forte is immigration law. He is a specialist in the study of international migration and received ISIM's (Institute for the Study of International Migration) highly acclaimed Certificate in Refugees and Humanitarian Emergencies form Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. He is also a proud recipient of Pro Bono Pledge Award for Exceptional Immigrant Community Service by OPICS, Office of the Public Interest and Community Service at Georgetown Law.
Mr. Chaudhary's legal experience spans to Pakistan as well where he is originally from. There, he interned at the law firm of distinguished Barrister Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan, former President of the Supreme Court Bar Association. He is affiliated with the Lahore High Court Bar Association and District Bar Association, Lahore, Pakistan.
As a Naturalized Pakistani-American, it is important for Mr. Chaudhary to stay connected to fellow immigrant community.
