
Attorney
Barry Berger received his J.D. degree in Cum Laude
from University of Houston in 1967, and obtained LL.M. with
distinction from Georgetown University Law Center.
A renowned litigator as well as a scholar, Mr. Berger
has thirty years of experience in legal practice and has
built an outstanding career in this field. Between 1967
and 1969, Mr. Berger was a Ford Foundation Fellow and Instructor
at Georgetown University Law Center. From 1969 to 1972,
he was an assistant and associate professor of law at the
University of Baltimore School of Law at Maryland. He also
served as an assistant general counsel for the Select Congressional
Committee of the US House of Representatives responsible
for drafting legislation and committee reports and responsible
for general committee business.
Mr. Berger’s legal practice covers business, private
and international arenas. Between 1976 to 1982, he was the
general attorney of Dresser Industries, Inc., a Fortune
100 company. In that position he supervised and administered
all litigation matters pertaining to company activities,
including foreign arbitration. Between 1982 to 1983, he
worked for Geosource, Inc., a Fortune 500 company, as the
company’s associate general counsel. From 1983, Mr.
Berger has been in private practice for different law firms,
engaging extensively in the litigation in Federal and state
court for personal injury, medical malpractice, product
liabilities, toxic torts, business, international, and intellectual
properties matters.
Mr. Berger received many honors over the years, and his
name is listed in Who's ’ho in American Universities
and Colleges, Reporter of Maryland Judicial conference,
Who's ’ho Among American Lawyers, and Who’s
Who.
