Ms. Sonia Lopez is one of the extensively experienced assistants in Lin & Valdez. She graduated from Bradford School of Business in 1999 where she received her certification for Legal Secretarial. The education and training she received through the certification gives her the integral knowledge and skills needed to work efficiently in a law firm.

After graduation, Ms. Lopez utilized the skills she acquired from the business school to work for the immigration firm of Lam, Wang & Lyn from 1999 to 2001 as legal assistant. In early 2001 to 2002 she worked for Ahn Law Firm, a private law firm focused on civil litigation, business law, and real estate law as a legal assistant/office manager.

Ms. Lopez’s current duties for our firm include managing the daily office activities, helping attorneys to translate, and overseeing all filings for immigration cases and cases of other nature. She reads, writes and speaks both English and Spanish, her native language. With the skills she has obtained and refined, she is a reliable, practical and diligent helper to all of our clients.
