Azhar Chaudhary (Of Counsel/Pakistani Law)

Composed of extensively trained and experienced attorneys, Lin & Valdez groups up a combined fifty years of experience in legal practice to serve clients worldwide. Headquartered in the booming southwest area of Houston, Texas, we are located in one of the most ethnically diversified cities in the world. Our clientele covers people from the four-corners of the world. People having lived in this country entrust to us with their civil, family, bankruptcy, criminal, personal injury, and estate planning matters. Clients from foreign countries, or companies hiring people from foreign countries rely on our immigration and international services to meet their immigration, international trading, and investment goals. With the diversified practice of law in different areas, we provide a high quality legal service to meet the needs of our clients, domestically and internationally.

On the immigration aspect of our practice, our attorneys have helped numberless foreign friends obtain legal status, permanently or temporarily. Each of our attorneys has extensive court experience and it is unique to an immigration law firm. We believe that kind of experience is important even for representing clients in applications filed to the INS because court experience trains an attorney the ability to analyze complicate issues and present the most effective arguments within a short time. That ability, even for applications filed in writing, is crucial for our clients’ immigration applications.

On Civil practices, we have a remarkably strong and outstanding litigation team. Mr. Alfred Valdez, with over three hundred mediations in his belt as a mediator, is an experienced litigator. Mr. Barry Berger, formerly Ford Foundation Fellow and Instructor at Georgetown University Law Center for litigation training, and an Assistant and Associate Professor of Law of University of Baltimore School of Law, has over thirty years in legal career. Both of them worked with Newton Schwartz P.C., a famous plaintiff-firm of Houston, in litigation for many years. Especially for our international clients coming to the U.S. for investment, trading, and doing business, Lin & Valdez is well-tooled to help you in resolving legal disputes.

In sum, we wish to help each of our clients achieve their goals, either its immigration or other aspects of legal matters. Our attorneys and staff speak English, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean, and Romanian, and this allows us to communicate with our clients well. We hope you will find what you need here, and wish we will have the opportunity to serve you.
